Description
Gisele's life was full of wonder and joy... she had just graduated college and was engaged to marry her sweetheart of many years. Everything in her life seemed to be going so well.
The morning of her wedding day, she and her family arrived at the church, and awaited the groom's family, careful to avoid the two seeing one another. Just down the road, the groom's father was driving his son to the ceremony at the head of the family procession when he had a massive coronary. The car careened out of control and crashed through the church, killing Gisele and most of her immediate family.
Gisele's survivors were awash with frustration and grief at having to bury so many of their loved ones, and bickered with the groom (who survived) and his relatives over the incident. They interned Gisele's body in the graveyard of the very church in which she had been waiting for her fiancée.
It is said that she waits there still... restless and wondering when the man she loves will come... or whether she will be left at the altar.
